Are you in control of your life?

Think about the most confident people you know. Likely they seem to have it all. They have a happy family, close friends, great house, they’re cherished at work, and they always look great. How are they doing it?

They know the importance of taking responsibility for their lives. Whether conscious or not, they have created a list of values and boundaries for themselves and they stick to them. So when a situation or person offers up a choice that doesn’t fit into their bigger picture, they can easily say no. And when one does, they easily say yes.

Curate your Life

Having full sovereignty over your decision making curates the life you have.

Yes, there are external factors and circumstances that can make life difficult but at the end of the day we’re still curating life for ourselves. We’re either making things easier, brighter, and more joyful. Or we’re staying stuck in the same hole and digging a deeper one as we go.

There is no judgment or right or wrong. There just is what there is.

The more you continue to make decisions that lead you down the same path, the further you’ll burrow into your situation. When you stop and shift to taking ownership of what you can control, and what you can say no and yes to, then you can start moving in a new direction.
